BluVac is an intelligent vacuum-compact system that provides unsurpassed energy savings in extrusion lines.
Vacuum pumps still account for a large proportion of energy consumption. With BluVac, Speck Pumps in Roth has developed an intelligent solution that only produces the suction power needed at every stage of the operation without using a bleed valve and as a result consuming significantly less energy. This is achieved by the use of small frequency controlled vacuum- and liquid pumps. The unique feature is that the vacuum supply and the excess liquid pump out is sensor controlled and thus several BlucVac systems can be installed in one line, which can regulate a separate pressure level for each section.
