Side channel pumps by SPECK
High operational reliability, optimal design and service-friendly
Side channel pumps (also called turbine pumps) are hydraulic flow machines and a sub-category of centrifugal pumps. They are assigned to the hydrodynamic pumps.
Speck has been developing and producing side channel pumps for decades and completely revised the modular system of the SK and ASK series in 2015.
The side channel pumps are suitable for pure to slightly contaminated (water-like) liquids without abrasive contamination and without solids. These pumps are gas-conveying and self-priming. Side channel pumps with NPSH preliminary stage (i.e. with an additional radial impeller) achieve very good NPSH values and can therefore also be used with low inlet heights and are ideally suited for pumping media close to the boiling point. Speck side channel pumps offer greater heads or higher pressures thanks to their multi-stage designs.
